Position: Dispatch Rider

Responsibilities:

1. Delivery of Goods:

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.

2. Route Planning:

• Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes.

3. Vehicle Maintenance:

• Ensure that the delivery vehicle (motorcycle or bike) is well-maintained and in good working condition.

4. Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service by interacting politely and professionally with customers.

5. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate delivery records.

6. Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies while on duty.

7. Handling Deliveries:

• Ensure that deliveries are handled carefully and securely.

8. Problem-Solving:

• Resolve any issues or concerns with deliveries in a professional and timely manner.

9. Return Deliveries:

• Collect and return any documents, payments, or other items as necessary.

10. General Support:

• Assist with other dispatch or logistical tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid motorcycle/bike riding license and a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a dispatch rider or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with the local area and routes.
• Good physical fitness and ability to handle and deliver goods.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety practices.
• Ability to handle multiple deliveries simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
• Must live in the Lekki, Lagos Axis (Do not apply if you live outside this area).
